Mondays got you down?

Monday is a day like any other, it is how we enter the day that will determine the outcome.
Psalm 6:6- I am weary with my groaning; all night I make my bed swim; I drench my couch with tears, How many times have our weeks begun just that way?

We enter the weekend with joy, already lost to the coming Monday blues. The difference comes, depending on the source of comfort we seek. Some choose the temporary affects that just deaden senses for a moment, and gives a reprieve only until Sunday evening. The other gives the eternal affect, without the guilt and loss of memory, of true freedom and release that lasts.

We continue to trust what the world offers as a sedative to reality. A temporary, yet most times a sedative that adds to our problems. We need to trust in the fact, life is life, and no drug, or alcohol, no matter how much we consume will change that fact! The one thing we can change is the control we give this sedative over our life.

We need to know we are better than that, and deserve better than that! Why not come to the One who offers you better than that? A life that you can look back on and remember? Not a life of forgotten moments hidden in a bottle or a pill that will come back and haunt you! But a life of hope and freedom, a time of building memories without regrets or embarrassments!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. I Cor. 5:17. If your way isn't working Come to Jesus by faith and He will give you a way that does.
