Do we believe really?

We have to stop using words like I can't, when we have a God that says I will!! John 15:5, Phil. 4:13
So many times we limit the work of God in our lives when we say we cannot, and do not pray, and wait on God to do His work in and through us. This is not where God wants us in our relationship with Him. Jesus Himself said, "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."

It just takes asking and believing. God does not want you out there helpless, and unarmed! He wants you in His word, and prayer, believing what you ask for. If you do not, then you will not feel His fullness, or experience what He truly has for you, victory! We say we believe, yet tell ourselves way to often what we cannot not do and come to believe, we cannot do!

God wants us to be doers, He wants us victorious, He wants His word hidden in our hearts! He does not want us spending our time on what we cannot do, but what He can and will do if only we believe. It takes more than just saying we believe, we have to believe with out a doubt! So our language as Christians has to change.

Instead of using words like I can't, start using words like I can and will because of Jesus who is in me! He gave us His Holy Spirit for times of need and teaching, for comfort. When we truly think about it we have all the capabilities we need to do whatever He needs us to do. Jesus said,"However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come."

King David himself talked of Scripture memory when he said, "Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I may not sin against You." Even with his busy schedule as king, he saw the importance of taking time to spend in God's word to help him in every daily decision, to keep him from sin! We need to stop saying can't when we have a God who says I will, just believe!
